The Bridgeport Sound Tigers will open their preseason schedule tonight when they take on their Connecticut rivals, the Hartford Wolf Pack. Nutmeg Natives: The Sound Tigers will boast two Connecticut natives in their lineup tonight when Jeff Dwyer and Keith Johnson pull on the Sound Tiger jersey. Dwyer, a defenseman, is from Greenwich, CT and Johnson, a forward, is a native of Windsor, CT.

Islander Campers: There are seven players on tonight's roster that took part in the New York Islanders training camp last week in Moncton, NB. They are forwards Trevor Smith, Olivier Labelle, Marc Cavosie, Derek Damon, Trevor Haskins, and defensemen, Jordan Hart and Martin Frechette.

Training Camp: The Sound Tigers are having their training camp at their official practice facility, The Rinks at Shelton, for the remainder of the week to prepare for the upcoming season. Fans are encouraged to attend the morning skates, that begin at 10 a.m., to meet the newest additions to the Sound Tigers lineup for the upcoming season.
